It's wonderful to nurse a verbal child. My 6 year old had language while
breastfeeding and so remembers so well.....Oh breastfeeding, she sighs
wistfully. It was so soft and warm and sweet. There is nothing else like
it....
She nursed until 4-1/2, but I heard her boasting to a friend yesterday that
she breastfed until 5!
How precious that two pre-schoolers can talk about it with one another!
knew a 5 yr old (nearly 6 yr old) who is still nursing too, and she said,
"I know. Emily asked C. if she still nursed and C. said, 'a little bit'."
It's funny because C.'s mom has been asking me how to wean her since she was
a yearling, (I told her "don't offer but don't refuse") and here they are,
still going strong. Makes me giggle.
