Hello! This is my first posting to Lactnet. I'm Gail Hertz, the Pediatric
Resident who wrote the little green breastfeeding book for residents - . My
disclosure is that I own Pocket Publications, the company that produces the
little green breastfeeding book.

I am interested in learning what the children you work with call breast
milk or breastfeeding. Please indicate (if you know) if the child came up
with it herself/himself. I will keep track of all emails sent to me and
post the results.

My daughter suddenly one day decided breastfeeding was "nursie"  [I would
ask "Do you want to nurse?"]. This follows that the milk she calls "nursie
milk" and breasts are "nursies".
