Hale 97 says no data exists on excretion in human milk...brief half
life...compared to [valium] this product would be a better choice for tx of
anxiety in bf women. But without accurate breastmilk levels, it is not
known if the product is safe for bf women or the levels the infant would
ingest daily. The rather brief half-life of this product and its
metabolite would not likely lead to a buildup in the infant's plasma. Does
anyone have their 98 Hale handy? Can't she use something else that we know
is safe? Would she be willing to take med at certain times, pump and have
milk tested. Shame to be dumping all that milk when it could be tested.
Sincerely, Pat in SNJ
