The 36-year-old mother of a 9-month-old has been told that her
dissected/ruptured artery (the arterial walls were "coming apart in
layers") was caused by the "hormonal changes of childbirth and continued
lactation." She also had two blockages and underwent a triple bypass
last week. She has been told to wean.
Although I've said she should ask for her physician's references, I'm
asking all of you for anything I can share with her...references,
referrals, information, support...
