I hit the roof when I heard an IKEA (furniture store) radio commercial today.
Well, maybe it was the heat and Friday afternoon traffic. The freeway I take
is on the way to the Colorado river and everyone must be going to the river
this weekend--anyway...
Some guy is telling mom how to organize her life. She says something like I've
been working at home for over a year now--then stuff on what's on sale. The
commercial ended with the mom asking the guy how to heat up bottles, he does
and says something like 2 degrees warmer should do it.
Maybe I'm overreacting but this attempt at humor was very offensive. I would
hope that moms who work from there homes are breastfeeding. <sigh> One more
example of a bottle feeding culture and those who promote it.
