Maurenne, I'm with you - this is a silly high tech solution. But I can't help
but like the idea of alarms going off when babies are too far from their moms
:-) If hospitals won't change their policies in order to be baby friendly,
maybe they'll change in order to be less open to litigation - "rooming in"
security systems could become part of the standard of care. *And* it is a
chance to use fancy, shmancy electronic toys - perhaps they could replace some
of the other "necessary" OB equipment (now who is being naive?).
