It is my understanding that the fermented vinegars, such as apple cider
vinegars, do contain natural yeasts and should be avoided when attempting
to rebalance of yeast/bacteria in the GI track. Distilled vinegar is not
fermented.

Now, I don't have experience in the creating of vinegars, but I have read
of this distinction so many times that I have adopted the caution.
