to all lactnetter, lactuca virosa, wild lettuce,or known in the mountains of
NC as "a poor man's opium". Yes out of the wild when chewed can give a bit
of a buzz but it has to be a good quantity. If you cook it like other greens
it has no buzz that i have heard of. It is an excellent galactagogue, but
hard to find; even in the wild you have to get it a just the right stage.
the best way i find it is homeopathically as pellets. Several midwife
friends i have say they have almost always good and quick results. I finally
found some and have it ordered. when i find out haow they work for me and my
clients i will report back.
