I agree this is a very frustrating issue. I think it has more to do with a
women's expectation VS reality. It is a funny thing that most people in
our society have no clue what to expect from being parents. Both in infancy
and in childhood. I often wonder if that was due to the tried theory that
children should be seen but not heard. If you can't hear then you can't be
in reality.
I would think some kind of expectations VS reality course should be given
during pregnancy.
I would say the worst part of this is if parents do not know what is normal
then the children they rear will not know that they are normal when they
don't fit the mold.
