In Oregon at least, some insurance companies will pay for a pump if it
is purchased, rather than rented.  The key term is "durable medical
equipment", and it is not limited to cases of medical need.  Have your
client call her insurance company to check their policy before
purchasing, of course.  I've had several moms who were returning to paid
employment and were able to get reimbursement for very nice pumps this
way.
