Coming out of lurkdom .......

I saved posts from Maryelle in 1995 . At that time she offered her help with
topics related to her specialty (gastroenterology) and proposed a system for
contacting her in order "to get timely answers". She said she only checked her
email 2-3 times a week but that Lactnetters could call her office phone number
(501) 320 1004 and let her secretary know that there was an email message
waiting for an answer. Her email address at the time was
