We know we are preaching to the choir when we talk about such things to our
own families---but oh! how I love it when the choir does some preaching on
their own!!
Here's a chuckle from my day yesterday....

Two of my daughters are playing softball on their school teams this spring,
and have come home with a myriad of ball bounces booboos-- and we have
found that cabbage leaves are much more comfortable -and seem to be as or
more effective- than ice to wrap on knuckles, and lay over bruised areas.
You never know how much the little ones are overhearing, but when my 6
year old son came home from the park yesterday , he shared that his
friend's finger had gotten slammed in the car door.

I said, "oh that must have hurt." To which Andy replied (with a very shake
your head slowly back and forth kind of tone in your voice) "Yeah, they
*had* to use ice cos they didn't have any cabbage...."!!!!

I tell you *my* face was all grins as I drove along..there is hope for the
future of breastfeeding, one family at a time!!
