Hi Everybody:
There was an interesting post about ulcerations and skin damage from the
use of GV. To avoid this, I recommend mothers to swab their nipples and
areolas and their
baby's mouth once, wait two days, then swab again, then wait two days and swab
again. Do this for 6 times, which will take her to two weeks, although many
times people have complete relief after only a few doses. One mother was
horrified by the intense purple color of her baby's mouth and stopped using it
after the one dose and still got a complete relief.
I have never received a complaint about any skin damage when the GV is
used this way.The dye works as long as it is there, so as long as things are
nice and purple, there is no need to paint again.
GV is my favorite treatment because it is cheap and readily available and
penetrates several skin layers and covers more strains of candida than some of
the other treatments. Warmly, Nikki
