By invitation from his teacher, I spoke at my 16 year old son's Child
Phsychology Class. "Characteristics and Needs of the Normal Newborn" was the
topic. We were able to tie in breastfeeding and May as National
Breastfeeding Month. One never knows how ones teenager will react to his
parents being on campus nevermind speaking to one of his classes. Well
surprise now my son has suggested that his upcoming Biology project be
relative to breastmilk or breastfeeding. Two other students will do this
project with him. They have all decided this should be the focus of their
profect. WOW! Was I surprised? This is a plea for suggestions for the
project. Biology is the subject ;sophmore level does not have to be too
indepth . Please send your ideas for projects. A few years ago his older
sister used petri dishes to show growth of bacteria and other organism on
raw cow milk( I remember driving out to a dairy for this) pasturized milk
and mother's milk within a given period of time. send to us at
[log in to unmask] or to the digest Thanks and HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY TO
US ALL!!
