I sent something along to answer the questions about hepatitis b to
the original questioner, but I did not see it on Lactnet, so I figure
I did not copy it.
The father in question, I should have said, is probably no more
infectious now (that he's jaundiced) than when he wasn't. It is
difficult to pass on hepatitis b through casual contact, but can be
spread by sexual relations, sharing needles and by infected blood (if
not treated).
I forgot what else was asked.
