Hi all,
Well I give up. I was so happy that I read 5 digests yesterday. Then I go down
stairs and my son says "you have 5 digests in the in basket. Oh what a
talkative bunch we are.
Well I am to Aug. 21 and the plug ducts and underwires. I must tell you that
for many years I was in the no wire group. Ten years ago when I became IBCLC, a
friend gave me office space in her shop. She does large size bras, nursing
bras, and mastectomy. Judy taught me how hard it is for a woman with large
breasts to carry all her weight on her shoulders. A large breasted mother needs
the help of wires. The trick is to make sure that the wire does not hit
glandular tissue. It must be back on the chest wall. This is often hard to do
for the woman who is above DD.
I sometimes think that half the population stuffs themselves into DD cups
because there isn't enough places to buy large bras.
I hope this helps,
Diane Herforth
