My dear grandson # 3 weighed 42 lbs by 2 years of age. he was a chunk.
For the next 3 years he continued to weigh 42 lbs, just kept getting
taller! Wore the same shorts 3 summers in a row! Didn't bother any one,
but all the babies in my family tend to be pudgy babies and basically
normal size by teens. Basically kids don't need to be on "diets". If they
are eating normal amounts of healthy foods, so what? The ones I worry
about are the ones drinking gallons of cows milk, and apple juice, and
eating chips, twinkies and lots of spaghetti-o's instead of fruits, veggies
and mama's milk. Sincerely, Pat in SNJ
