Just a gentle reminder that 23 or 28 or 36 or whatever months of lactational
amenorrhea is not LONG or EXTENDED, but well within the range of normal
human experience, even for well-nourished mothers.  As Diane Wiessinger has
taught us, we need to be very careful about how we phrase these things.
Just as 14 months doesn't qualify as "extended" nursing, nor does 23 or 28
months qualify as "long" lactational amenorrhea.  These are normal durations.
