I received the same reply, word for word.  I had written that their
policy was disgraceful.  But at least they backed down.  There is not
a company to which I had written in Canada who has backed down.  Not
even the St. John Ambulance which was running seminars in nutrition
for pregnant women with Mead Johnson.  They even had the temerity to
say that they were receiving no money from Mead Johnson to do this.
If true, they are bigger fools than I had thought.  But if you believe
they were doing it only as a service to pregnant women, you'll believe
anything.  Like, multinational companies really want to be good
corporate citizens. Ha!
