I emailed them about their promotion of their new formula and got a typical
we did nothing wrong response. I emailed them back regarding their code
violations but I am sure that email will go in the circular file(can you do
that with a email?)
If anyone is interested in seeing their response please email me privately
and I will forward it. [log in to unmask]
The most aggravating part of their response was when they reiterated their
disclaimer on the value of breastmilk. It says
"Breast milk contains hormones, active enzymes, and other compounds that
cannot be replicated in any infant formula"
Hormones? Enzymes? Componds? Would this info make breastfeeding sound
attractive?
Remember all the boycotting of the milk made by cows given hormones? Don't
they make cleaners out of enzymes? And what about that well know wart
remover, compound W.
Clearly they are marketing a product. I just wish they saw their
competition as other formulas, not mothers!
