Each year the Working Mother magazine publishes a list of the 100
best companies for women to work for based on a wide range of criteria
including work family benefits among others. In their 1994 list they
included nursing mother's room as one of the programs good for women.
That year 20 of the 100 best companies had some form of lactation support.

LP = lactation program
BP= breast pumps

In addition, the Texas Dept of Public Health gives awards to
companies that are breastfeeding friendly and, at my last
count have about 6 companies who have been so honored.
