I think we need to be careful to define what we mean by "traditioanl medicine."
That usually means something that is non-western, or not allopathic medicine.
Alternative medicine and traditional medicine may be the same in that it
can i nclude things like use of herbs, acupuncture (the traditional
medicine of China, for example), craniosacral therapy is an alternative
medical technique, as is therapeutic touch (even though it is increasingly
accepted as part of western medical offerings), and so on.
"Traditional medicine" is NOT western or allopathic medicine.
