Some time ago, I mentioned a study I had seen which related the
action of growth hormone on galactopoiesis. Unfortunately, I couldn't
find the article at the time. It has just turned up, hopelessly
miss filed!!!
The study examined 16 women in a double-blind randomised
placebo-contolled trial of human growth hormone to assess the effect
on milk production in early lactation. They found that the women
treated with hGH had an increase in milk volume of 18%, compared to
the control group who had an increase of 11% (p<0.02).

lactating women. Acta Endocrinologica 1992, 127:337-43
