A note I received about the "nucleotide study" from Pickering et al from
INFACT Canada:

Dear Jack,

Suspicions confirmed. The Pickering study on nucleotides is a Ross
Abbott Lab funded study - "This work was supported by Ross Products
Division, Abbott laboratories NIH-HD 13021".
Also 6 out of the 9 researchers cited are Ross employees!
No wonder they used it so liberally to make their Similac Advance
claims and get it to the media before it sees the light of day in a
peer reviewed journal.
