Hi all,
I wanted to comment on the use of "Humanmilk" VS "Breastmilk." Last
night my six year old son (bf for three years) was joking and asked me
for milky. I said there isn't any breastmilk in there and he broke
out laughing and feeling all silly. I realized and then said there is
no more human milk left in there and he said, "That is what the milk
is?" I said yes, we make human milk for human babies, just like cows
make "cow milk for cows" He stopped giggling and started thinking. I
agree that we should refer to human milk as human milk. How did it
end up breastmilk and attached to a part of human anatomy verses being
attached to humankind?
