Hi to all,
Just a quick update for all of you who offered such incredible support for
the mom who had the baby with Tetrology of Fallot and VSD.
The baby girl was born two weeks as a pink baby with a minimal amount of
time in the NICU. They are both home now and baby Emily is happily nursing.
Mom had a difficult time at first deciding if she was going to contiune
doing "that". Maybe a fear of losing the baby - not wanting to get so
attached. She did lose her previous baby at 10 months old due to many of
these same complications. Emily seems to be doing much better than baby
Matthew did, even at this point. We are all keeping our fingers crossed,
offering lots of suppport and prayers. The babies cardiologist seems to be
very supportive of breastfeeding.
Once again, thanks to all of you for your letters and information.
WarmLLLY,
Cindy HIrsch, APL in Sunny South Florida where the skies are so blue!!!
Spring is here!
