Hi,
Use the cabbage cold. It feels great, and the cold helps the swelling as
well as the other prpoerties in the cabbage.
As far as finding cabbage soothing, I would have to say that many women also
find it very effective and, IMO, that is an important thing to not leave
out. Soothing is such a "mild" word, if you know what I mean, whereas
"effective" has more punch to it.
Cabbage is great stuff, even if there aren't any scientific studies on it.
I am currently trying to get my hubby to use it on his arms and wriss which
are swollen from carpal tunnel flare ups. If it works, I'll let you know.
