Sorry for the confusion between earthquakes and Barbara's client. I
sure didn't mean to relate the one to the other. I do wonder why the
woman's doctor isn't taking more seriously the suggestion that there
could be retained placenta.
I did wonder if there was anything in her history in between
pregnancies. Did she experience involution of the breast? Did she
experience breast enlargement during pregnancy? The only time I saw
lactation insuffiency in a "proven" lactating woman was in a mother with
8 children. And, it was low milk supply, not total lactation failure.
This is truly puzzling. Be sure to let us know what happens.
