I was really surprised to hear that some pharmacists are giving
customers a hard time about certain non-Rx products. First of all, I've
been to U.S. supermarkets/drugstores and was surprised to find that you
can get loads of OTC meds right off the shelf. (Here in Israel, you are
waited on by the pharmacist.) Secondly, I don't understand why an
explanation is necessary. Why would I have to tell
the pharmacist or clerk the purpose of my purchase? That is an invasion
of my privacy.
I am taking a course in homeopathy. About 80% of my classmates are
pharmacists and I have found them to be very open and inquisitive about
breast treatments. If your client has a complaint about treatment, I'd
take it up with the management of the store (or the chain's head
office.)
