A mom stopped by today to rent a pump - she needs to travel to Columbia
Presbyterian next month for some testing. Her baby had a violent reaction
after having his first bottle of Similac - before then he had been totally
breastfed. Now they doctors are trying to rule out some pretty complicated
disorders - Glycogen Storage Disease and Lactic acidosis are two of the
diagnoses mentioned to her.
She was asking about LC support in the area, so I'm asking you not only for
help in this, but also if anyone has any information (she has been on the
Internet) on these diseases.
