Of course what you said about breastmilk protecting babies from ear
infections is on the mark, but this company doesn't want babies/children to
breastfeed; they market formula. American Home Products is included in
the Nestle ban, so aggressive are their marketing techniques.
It never ceases to amaze me that our society does not trust the human body
to overcome illness/disease and heal itself. We are forever seeking that
miracle vaccine to make the hurt go away. Beginning in infancy by
breastfeeding, we can make our children's bodies strong enough to fight
infection (with more benign interventions, when necessary).
