My 22 months old weaned herself at 12 months due to a severe attack
of hand foot and mouth disease. I was forced to force feed her via a
syringe during a 2 week period. I expressed and gave her the EBM as
I was expecting to continue breastfeeding her after she had
recovered, however that was not meant to be. Today, I found her with
a syringe (we have a few around, my husband and I are both medical
people) in her mouth saying "I have breastfeed". I was amazed, she
can't recall the time we had, only the syringe, cor, just not
fair.!!!
