Hi All,

Case History-G2P1 Two years ago first baby ?retained placenta fragments
as evidenced by a high progesterone level at one week PP and lochia
rubra.  Used SNS and pumped X 6 weeks and never got any milk.

Today at 2 days postpartum she has no milk-very little swallowing heard
and not able to pump anything.  Her prolactin level is only 21 and LH is
.02.

Do we tell this very motivated Mom she may never make milk or is there
anything we can do to get her prolactin level up?
