This is not a lot of info to go on, but exactly what is the risk here of
offering the child breastmilk?  It sounds as if he might die as it is.
Surely, we wouldn't not give him breastmilk because we can't find a
study to show what good it would do.  Or on the basis of some
theoretical notion that the donor's antibodies might somehow cause him
problems?

Do the doctors really not know what immunologic benefits might accrue
from the use of breastmilk?
