Rob, 32 years ago I was advised to pump and dump for my then 4 day old. I
had a sore breast and was put on PCN. Was told the milk had infection and
PCN in it. In the middle of the night when I couldn't make the stupid
bicycle horn pump work, I figured out if I couldn't nurse because the milk
was infected and had PCN in it, hopefully they would cancel each other out,
and proceeded to nurse! Baby had no problems and it made me begin to
question a lot of things I accepted as gospel. Sincerely, Pat in SNJ
