Hi! My name is Margaret Sherratt. I am a R.N. IBCLC (1994). I am happily
employed in a hospital based breastfeeding clinic and a mother to four active
boys. I have learned so much from Lactnet in the past several months.
Presently I am in the process of developing a breastfeeding education program
for R.N.s crosstraining from L&D to a LDRP(labor,delivery.recovery
&postpartum) model of care. The posts a couple of weeks ago on class content
were very helpful.

I hope to keep this 12 hour education program lively. I also know we as adults
learn best by doing. Does anyone have any teaching tips that involve class
participation versus the "let me spoon feed you the information" method? Does
anyone wish to share what worked ( and didn't work ) when you were presenting
a similiar type of program.
