I wouldnt be so quick to start thinking there's a formula rep under every
rock, so to speak.  In the late fall many hospitals began inservicing all
staff to the new
Standard Precautions in lieu of Universal precautions.  The new guide says
that all fluids, including blood, body fluid, mucous membranes and non-intact
skin - should be handled with gloves.  WITH THE EXCEPTION OF SWEAT
