This mom I have been working with has asked me about a drug. I have not been
able to find it in any of Dr. Hales work or other sources. Could anyone help
please.
- Still breastfeeding.
- Baby (toddler) is 18 months.
- Started birth control (for bleeding problems) in December.
- Birth control insert says, "A few adverse effects on the child have been
reported, including yellowing of the skin (jaundice) and breast enlargement."
- Baby has developed a rash (but probably from laundry detergent) (inside
upper right arm and down the same side to diaper area).
Here is all the info I can find from the insert regarding names of drugs and
the manufacturer, etc. I hope this is helpful.
Alesse - 21 & 28 (She is using the 28)
(levonorgestrel and ethinyl estradiol tablets)
