As a resident we were told to suction all c-section infant stomaches with a
"de lee" (? spelling) suction with trap. We also used to suction meconium
stained infants with an ET tube using our mouths. Can't rememeber why we did
the first (maybe something to do with preventing aspiration), but know why we
stopped the latter.
