Hi all,

Coming out of lurkdom to pose a question about wet nursing. A student
in a sociology class at a local community college is doing a report on
wet nursing. Some historical stuff to which I referred her to "Breasts,
Bottles, and Babies" but wasn't sure about current info, practices, etc.
I mean, Iknow people who have nursed other mum's babies but this is more
of an emergency thing, not a regular practice. Any ideas? Sources?
