Oh my gosh, you're all going to think I'm a crazy rebel but...for my 30th
birthday I got a tatoo! Yes I was nursing at the time, my son Charles was
18 mos. old. Now even more shocking is that when my baby, Linzey, was, oh,
about 6 weeks old, I got another one! We took her with us and told everyone
I was getting LACTATING MAMA on my chest! All the tatoo artists sure got a
kick out of that. I nursed her right there in the shop. My hubby even took
a picture! I actually got the kids names as an anklet with a single rose
between each name.
I wasn't concerned about the dyes. It was my understanding that they didn't
go into the muscle. I must say the first one was a whim. I wanted to do
something wild for my 30th. But I waited over a year for the second and am
planning a third. They are addictive. My biggest concern was hepatitis or
HIV. We went to a reputable place that is famous in our area. They use
clean needles one time use and are for regulating the business. I think the
concerns would be the same with bady piercing. If people ask I tell them
wait, wait, wait. Be sure it's something you want to do.
By the way, my husband got a big (about 10 inches) tatoo on his calf on my
30th. It's a rose with all our names. Hey I never would have thought it
either!
From that wild and crazy La Leche League Leader in wacky California. Oh
yeah I wear Birkenstocks and tie dye clothes too! Just kidding, actually
I'm very respectable!
Jill :] How do you make those smiley faces anyway?
