Dr. Jack said...and he just assumed that the same was true of all his
friends at preschool and eventually kindergarten.

While Alison was in kindergarten she came home one day and said, "I think
Danny still has milkies."  I asked why she thought that, and she said that
he has fat cheeks like somebody has if they still have milkies. I said that
maybe he does.

Next day she came home and said, "I was right.  I asked Danny if he has
milkies and he said 'Yes.'"

I don't know if he was nursing or if he just had no idea what she was asking.

Danny was her special boyfriend and she wanted to sit with him on the bus
every day.  One day she hurried into the house to tell me that she got to
sit with him on the way home.  Next day she said he wasn't in school
because "he has spots."

Two weeks later...guess who also had "spots."
