Hi, Jeanne, yes, I also believe she wants permission to wean.
BUT-the fact that I talked to her for so long makes me think I am
"co-dependent".
For my own sanity I need to know how to cut the call short when it
becomes a "yes-but" type of thing.
I told her to feel free to call me back and let me know how things were
going, even if she decided to stop breastfeeding. So it ended on a very
friendly note...
thanks for your response. And thanks, Leslie, too. Yes, this mom did
breastfeed the others, but was not very happy about it then
either....another child also had problems with eczema. I agree that the
formula changes the whole picture, and combined with everything else that
is going on, how can we tease out each variable?
We need to walk a mile in her shoes....
