i believe hydrocephaly is thought to occur in some babies with spina bifida
because of either defects in the circulation of cerebrospinal fluid (due to
narrowing of a canal) &/or due to increased proteins in the fluid from the
site of the lesion.  It is known that more hydrocephaly occurs in individuals
whose lesions are surgically closed.

I can't see how breastfeeding or not would have any influence on whether or
not a baby develops hydrocephaly.
