It is difficult to say emphatically what is right or wrong in a situation
where no scientific evidence exists.  I am not aware of any disease process
transmitted by auto-antibodies in breastmilk, though, I suppose it is
possible that they exist.  All anti-nucleic acid antibodies fall into this
category.  My feeling is that the total absence of scientific evidence
should result in the advice that we should not interfere with nature by
introducing cow's milk protein into the equation.  I would say this to the
parents and involve them in the decision.
