I have a patient that had a stroke during the pregnancy of unkown etiology,
she is now nursing her 6 month old baby and will be placed on aspirin 325 mg
day, I believe that the risk of reye syndrome is neglectiblefor the baby, but
what about metabolic acidosis or pehaps rashes with the chronic maternal use,
of course I could check the aspirin level in the baby in a couple of weeks,
but I wonder if any of you have any experience with that? the archieves does
not have the answer. Thank you.
