To all of my friends and cohorts:  I hope I have managed to thank each of you individually.  I have gotten so many wonderful letters of support for the situation, and fingerfeeding protocols galore (they don't differ all that much -- but I can show my boss, if necessary, how widely this is practiced), and a good list of parent support groups, chat lines, and lists.  Thank you all for this outpouring of support and information.

I feel much better today, about the whole thing, than I did yesterday at this time.
