TTN = transient tachypnea of the newborn = rapid breathing , greater
than 60 breaths per minute in the newborn period. This usually only
lasts a few hours and as far as I know, has nothing to do with breathing
related to nursing. In our hosp, babies with TTN are not fed at all due
to the increased chance of pulmonary aspiration.
