To Karen and Lactnetters
Speaking as one who is going through the countdown for a March conference,
I'll add some thoughts:
Chose topics and speakers that will attract a wide audience, take the time and
effort to apply for continuing education credits, we did it for the nurses,
dieteticans, and IBCLCs.
Be sure you have a budget BEFORE you start. The cost of application, copying,
honorarium, food, AVs, room rental can sneak up on you. Your registration fee
should cover everything PLUS return some profit to the organization who put in
all the time and effort.
Jack Newman is coming to us---it should be great!
