<<<I am after some information on why when menstruating a mothers baby
is extremely irritable and fussy. This particular baby attaches but
thenhas a suck or two before detatching and screaming. What has changed
in the components of the breastmilk? Melinda>>>
In my case it is low milk supply that causes it. The 2 weeks before my
first period (15 months pp) I had very low milk supply, and late or no
let downs. nothing helped, until my menstruation came through. The next
menstruations didn't had such big infuence, but my recent period had
similar effect: 2 weeks sore nipples and low milk supply.
I wonder if sometimes the mother thinks the milk tastes bad, bc the baby
is fussy, while it actually is a milk supply/let down problem.
Anyway, I'm not the only one with such a dramatic decrease in milk
supply pre menstruation, so I was wondering if someone knows herbs, that
have balancing effect on the hormones.
